Why a fragrance and male grooming blog?
Well, I’ve always been fascinated by the world of aftershaves and colognes. I’ve always tried to seek out fragrances that are less run-of-the-mill and have enjoyed the compliments that come with this, hence the name and the ethos of this blog, ‘
You smell great, what is it?’.
I want to explore fragrance and male grooming products from a layman’s point of view. Full disclosure - I have no scientific or technical training. I’m approaching this purely as something I’m interested in and keen to know more about. I’d love it if people came along for the ride.
My aim is to demystify the world of fragrance and male grooming and present it in a way that makes sense for the regular guy who doesn’t have a molecular physics degree and isn’t a slave to the latest style fads and fashions. I’m also well aware that everyone’s budget is different. There will be no snobbery here about the benefit of spending £200 on a bottle and if a product smells great at £30 I’ll say so!
